Educators have many choices for interim assessment, but not all assessments are predictive of students’ performance on summative tests, nor fully measure what students have learned at a point in time. The CASE Benchmark Assessments® were introduced in 2010 and have been administered in five states in more than 250 districts, with educators citing a high correlation between CASE Benchmark scores and state summative scores. In 2020-21, the CASE Benchmarks will be available in Texas.
