Do you struggle with how to train new Campus Testing Coordinators? Do you find yourself trying to come up with ways to teach your new people to be self-sufficient and resourceful? This course is designed to share how a large urban district disseminates information and supports Campus Coordinators to ensure a successful year. We will share our 3-Pronged Attack: New CTC Briefing, Mentor Program, and New CTC Academy. Our Briefing outlines the year ahead, establishing CTC expectations, covering the testing calendar for the year, and detailing assessments given at each level. We will introduce a Mentoring plan to provide new CTCs with ongoing support from a seasoned CTC in the field. Lastly, our New CTC Academy will also be highlighted, detailing sessions conducted in the fall to prepare coordinators with skills needed to proficiently handle state and local testing.
